Fine artist and illustrator Carla Sternberg Koch paints flowers and scenes of nature, primarily in watercolor. She takes much of her inspiration from the beautiful garden that she has lovingly nurtured around her home in Connecticut.

 

An art major who has a good working knowledge of the botanical world, Carla grows orchids in the greenhouse attached to her home. She is particularly interested in florals, nature, historic architecture and antiques as subjects for her paintings.

 

 Carla's art has been reproduced on paper products, including greeting cards and giftware. She also enjoys doing animal and house portraits for clients and can do commissioned art.

 

 Carla specializes in pet portraits and captures the spirit of your furry friend. Her beautiful house portraits are a great way to remember your family home, and make wonderful gifts at any time of the year.
